Advantages Of Non Woven Fabrics

Non woven fabric is a new type of fiber product with soft, air-permeable and flat structure. The advantage is that it does not produce fiber chips, is strong, durable, and silky soft. It is also a kind of reinforcing material. Moreover, non woven fabrics also have a cottony feel. Compared with cotton fabrics, non woven bags are easy to form and cheaper to manufacture.

Advantages of non woven fabrics:

1. Non woven fabrics are light in weight: polypropylene resin is used as the main raw material for production, with a specific gravity of only 0.9, only three-fifths of cotton. The non woven fabric is fluffy and feels good.

2. Softness: Non woven fabric is composed of fine fibers and is formed by light-point hot-melt bonding. The finished product is moderately soft and comfortable.

3. Non woven fabric is water-repellent and breathable: Polypropylene slices do not absorb water, have zero moisture content, and have good water-repellency. The non woven fabric is composed of 100% fiber and is porous, good air permeability, easy to keep the fabric dry and easy to wash.

4. Non-toxic and non-irritating: Non-woven products are produced with FDA food-grade raw materials, without other chemical ingredients, stable performance, non-toxic, non-odor, and non-irritating to the skin.

5. Non woven fabric antibacterial and anti-chemical agents: Polypropylene is a chemically inactive substance that can isolate bacteria in the liquid, antibacterial, and alkali corrosion; the finished non woven fabric will not affect the strength due to erosion.

6. Antibacterial. Non woven products are water-repellent, non-mold, and can isolate the bacteria and insects in the liquid from erosion, and are not moldy.

7. Good physical properties. The non woven fabric is made of polypropylene spun yarn directly spread into a net and thermally bonded. The product strength is better than ordinary staple fiber products.

8. In terms of environmental protection, the raw material used in most non woven fabrics is polypropylene, while the raw material of plastic bags is polyethylene. The chemical molecular structure of polyethylene is very stable and extremely difficult to degrade, so it takes 300 years for plastic bags to be decomposed; while the chemical structure of polypropylene is not strong, the molecular chain can easily be broken, which can be effectively degraded , and enter the next environmental cycle in a non-toxic form, a non-woven shopping bag can be completely decomposed within 90 days. Moreover, the non woven fabric shopping bag can be reused more than 10 times, and the pollution to the environment after being discarded is only 10% of that of the plastic bag.
